1. Nvidia Develops Secret China Chip Despite Export Ban

Nvidia is secretly developing a new AI chip for China called the B30A based on its latest Blackwell architecture, despite ongoing U.S. export restrictions. The chip will deliver half the computing power of Nvidia's flagship B300 while still outperforming the currently allowed H20 model. Trump recently hinted he might allow scaled-down chips to China with "30% to 50% off" computing power, calling the H20 "obsolete."

2. Grammarly Launches AI Agents That Detect AI Text

Grammarly evolved beyond spell-checking into a full AI productivity platform with eight specialized AI agents, including one that detects AI-generated text and another that automatically finds and formats citations. The Citation Finder agent actively finds evidence that supports or disputes claims in papers and generates properly formatted citations automatically. Other agents include an AI Grader that evaluates work against rubrics and a Reader Reactions agent that predicts audience responses.

3. OpenAI Launches Cheapest ChatGPT Plan at $4.60 in India

OpenAI launched ChatGPT Go in India for $4.57 per month, making it the company's most affordable subscription plan yet. The plan provides 10 times more message limits, image generations, and file uploads than the free tier, plus expanded access to GPT-5. OpenAI will learn from feedback in India before expanding to other countries.

4. Grok's Wild AI Persona Prompts Accidentally Exposed

xAI's Grok chatbot accidentally exposed its system prompts for various AI personas, revealing instructions for a "crazy conspiracist" designed to believe "a secret global cabal" controls the world. The prompts also included an "unhinged comedian" told to be "f—ing insane" and come up with extreme content. The exposure comes after a planned U.S. government partnership fell through following Grok's controversial "MechaHitler" tangent.

5. Google Study: 90% of Game Developers Use AI Agents

A Google Cloud survey of 615 game developers found that 87% are using AI agents to automate tasks, with 97% believing generative AI is reshaping the industry. About 44% use AI agents for content optimization while 38% use them for dynamic gameplay balancing. Gaming publishers turned to AI to address ballooning development costs, with 94% expecting AI to reduce long-term costs.

6. Google's Pixel 10 Event Promises Major AI Upgrades

Google's Made by Google event on Wednesday will showcase the Pixel 10 series with significant Gemini AI enhancements, including a rumored "Camera Coach" feature for real-time photography tips. The Pixel 10 gets a major camera upgrade with a dedicated telephoto lens powered by the new Tensor G5 processor. The event will also feature the Pixel Watch 4 with improved health tracking and new Pixel Buds with active noise cancellation.
